Prerelease hits Pastimes Sports Cards, Comics & Games May 22nd. This is a cardshop in Niles, Illinois on Golf Road. So I'm guessing it will hit other stores in Illinois at about the same time.

Here's a peek at another new Fifth Dawn card, called Vedalken Orrery. I think this card is a little BS myself, although it can be easily dealt with via Disenchant or any other artifact removal.

I am starting to get the feeling that Champions of Kamigawa is going to be a Legend heavy set. Not sure if the entire block will be, but I think the first set will be. The only card currently revealed is this.

It has been confirmed that there will be more legends in Kamigawa then in the Legends set. That is at least 20 or 30, probably more though.

I was at Gamers b/c my cousin buys cards there and they are doing a deal, where if you buy any magic pack, you get a free Kamigawa card. He got the one fox cleric Kitsune Healer that: prevent the next one damage to target creature or player this turn. Prevent all damage that will be dealt to target legendary creature this turn. Kitsune Healer.

Indestructible is back (BOO!) only two sets after its original debut. Looks like they're running out of ideas. And Bushido, the new creature ability, is completely unoriginal. Just a variant of rampage. Bushido 5 = "When this creature blocks or is blocked, it gets +5/+5 until end of turn." They really could have done better. On the upside, I'm already thinking of ways to abuse that white Dragon Legend ( Coffin Queen + Fallen Angel or some other sac engine + Yosei, the Morning Star = stasis lock on your opponent).
