Volcanologist Casting cost: 5 Creature - Scientist Power/Toughness: 1/2 All mountains produce an additional when tapped for mana. Mountains you control gain " : deal 1 damage to target creature or player." Feedback is welcome. EDIT: Volcanologist is no longer a legend (as if you'd want to use more than one anyway).

As if direct damage decks weren't bad enough.

But nobody's ever been killed by a Scientist Legend before. And besides, it's pretty expensive to get into play. A good direct damage should have a big lead anyway that far into the game.

yeah, this card is just in case it hits a land pocket and nothing to spend it on

Awesome. I wanted to make more scientists, but I couldn't think of any.

Volcanologist Casting cost: 5 Creature - Scientist Legend Power/Toughness: 1/2 All mountains produce an additional when tapped for mana. Mountains you control gain " : deal 1 damage to target creature or player." Feedback is welcome. can you please make the ability for mountains "R Tap: deal 1 damage to target creature or player"? otherwise, its just insane. with manaflare out, they die if you have 3 lands, tapping for the effect will just balance out the card a bit more

It was originally supposed to be Don't know how it became . Must've been when I changed to the mana symbols. Oops. And I don't think that having mountains tap to do one damage is overpowered, because not only does it take a long time to get Volcanologist out, but as I said before, any direct damage deck that doesn't have a fairly big lead by that time anyway is most likely doomed to failure.

Historian 1 Creature - Scientist , : Draw a card. 1/1 "That can't be true...right?" I know a historian is not really a scientist but it just works better this way than making a new creature type.

Hey, I think those are both pretty good ideas. Anybody got an idea for an Astrophysicist?
