Are there any nicknames for cards that you use? Here are a few of them I have come across: Pemmin's Aura = "I am Superman" This one is simple, Pemmin's Aura is an anagram for I Am Superman" Scavenging Ghoul = "Savage Beagle" Volrath misheard the name of this card when one of my friends played it, and it's been known as the Savage Beagle ever since. Chimney Imp = "Chimney Pimp" or "Teh pImp" (misspelling intentional) This is a huge running joke on the WotC message board. It all began with this thread: boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=145765Any other nicknames out there?

Forgot the classic: Prodigal Sorcerer = Tim Named after Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python & the Holy Grail.

Solemn Simulacrum = Jens This is because the card was designed by the winner of the Magic Invitational in 2003, whose name is Jens Thoren.

not sure about fixit, but Mr Babycakes was the nickname during playtesting, before it got a real name.

Well, somehow we haven't mentioned Dr Teeth yet (otherwise known as Psychatog).

And then there's Sex Monkey, so named for what's going on in the right side of the picture. And I don't care what anyone says, yes they are doing that.

I often see Yawgmoth's Will referred to on the Wizards board as "YawgWin," because supposedly in Type 1, the game is pretty much over when this gets played.

Uncle Istvan = Uncle Fester We have some names for some cards in my area, not sure if they are used elsewhere though: Jester's Cap = Noddy Any rat card is called Roland, so Bog Roland, Carrion Roland and so on. Severed Legion = Army of Thing Lich = Old Bony Shivan Dragon = WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! (don't ask) Zuran Orb = Land Muncher Channel = Ouchies! YTeah, some of our nick names leave alot to be desired and mostly originate from us playing Magic whileb being very, very drunk, Hehehehehehehheh....
