This is for anyone who wishes to discuss the Magic the Gathering novels that have been released. I think we explained this well enough on homepage, but just in case here it is again.

I only ever read the first couple, "The Brothers' War" and "The Rath Cycle." I didn't really think they were anything special.

Anything and everything you could possibly ever want to know about the great Yawgmoth, my master, can be found here. If you don't want to read all that, then the summary is: He is the ruler of Phyrexia and the creator of the artificial plane of Rath. He is the enemy of Urza Planeswalker and far ore powerful. He was the cause of the Planeshift (overlaying Rath onto Dominaria) and the Apocalypse. Basically, he is a God. Well, more of like a Devil. I think Phyrexia was based on Hell because it has nine levels, each getting worse until you finally get to the last one, which is where Yawgmoth can be found.

There are comics? I didn't even know that. However, I've never really been interested in the M:tG storyline, so I probably won't read them. I've only read two of the novels, even, and they seemed to be to be average at best.
