Still works.
For what it's worth, I eventually did read the Kamigawa books. They aren't bad.
I also have the Ravnica book, which is propping up my dinner table quite nicely.

Dunno, I never got around to reading it. I just noticed that the book was about the right size to hold up the table leg, which had one of its feet fall out and disappear thanks to cats playing with it.
