Please note that the question is "Which is the strongest color," not "Which is your favorite color." I'd have to say blue is the strongest. It has by far the best card drawing (excepting Skullclamp and Necropotence), and possesses all of the non-color-based counterspells (too many to list, in fact). In addition, it has all the Tims, so it's not without direct damage. Blue has a lot of good flyers as well, like Mahamoti Djinn, and pretty much all the unblockable creatures. To top it all off, it has the best synergy with artifacts. There is a reason that three of the Power 9 cards ( Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, and Timetwister) are blue, whereas the other six are all artifacts. Blue is, in my opinion, the strongest of the five colors.

Blue, without a doubt for the reasons that Maraxus posted.

I'd honestly have to say that White is a stronger color

My vote is for White. blue is irritating beyond words but White has the speed to compete with Blue. Its got better creatures and life gaining. All Blue has is counterspelling and card drawing. Blue is best at messing with the mechanics of the game and through experience both using it and seeing it used thats really all it is capable of.

Welcome to the board CrimsonTears!
You do raise a good point about white being fast and whatnot. Have you ever noticed that blue and white go together unbelievably well? I'd say it's the best two-color combination out there.

White is good and all, but i think it is best left as a support color. I've seen a great burn deck, a great card draw, a good weenie deck, and they all have white as support. the only thing i can't see white being a good support color to is black. they kind of have opposite goals.

Hmm... Overall, Blue is the strongest, but I'd say in the current type two, it's red. But only for a week or two; till Onslaught rotates out.
Haldo, 'Tears!

All those decks you mentioned sound like mine. R/W burn deck, U/W card draw, G/W swarm... I have all those decks (wouldn't call the last a weenie deck though).

meh, its kind of uber-weenie. but yes, they were references to yours. I don't know anyone that splashes white as much as you.
