If I imprint Orim's Chant on an Isochron Scepter, do I have to pay the kicker seperately every time I activate the Scepter, is that covered in the cost of the Scepter's ability, or can I not pay the kicker at all?

When you imprint the card if you pay the kicker cost as well as the mana cost it has the kicker ability also and all you pay is the two and tap the Isochron Scepter. So it is like you are casting the card and its kicker cost but it is on an artifact so it stays in play.

I checked on this once on the MTG boards and I'm pretty sure that the kicker cost has to be played each time separately.

From the WotC site, under Saturday School rules for Isochron Scepter:
Q: Can I pay entwine and kicker costs from spells imprinted on Isochron Scepter? Will it cost me additional mana?
A: You may pay any additional costs to the spells (such as kicker and entwine). This will cost additional mana, as the Scepter only replaces the mana cost of the card, which is the cost in the top right corner of the card. Any additional costs must be paid separately. This includes costs that aren't optional, like sacrificing an artifact to Shrapnel Blast.
So in other words, to answer my original question, you do have to pay the kicker each time.
