What sets do you think are the worst?
My knowledge of sets after Exodus is somewhat spotty, but I know that Fallen Empires isn't that great. There are only a few good cards in that set, most notably Hymn to Tourach. If I remember, Hand of Justice isn't bad either. But really most of the cards in that set were pretty crappy.
Good art, though.
I used to think Exodus was crap, but cards like Survival of the Fittest, Recurring Nightmare, and Pit Spawn have changed my mind.

I found very little in Marcadian Masques and Legions that I found helpful. An entire creature based deck just didn't cut it. You need instants and sorceries and enchantments. A big mistake on Wizards part if you ask me.

Eh, i have to disagree with you there. While those help a lot, they aren't necessary to make a good deck. Just look at my Zombie Deck |

This thread is asking for trouble. I know through experience with my board. I'll proove it too anything after Judgment is bad. Now theres a way to scare off new members.

Fallen Empires I'll go with, though Ragnar has found some use for the cards in it. Homelands I like simply b/c it is vampire heavy.

If you are a tournament player yes you're correct they are too slow. But in an extended game I've found uses to make the deck pretty good.
