My Sliver Deck

On paper it looks pretty good, I think. However, I consider it the worst deck I have because IT NEVER WINS. I am really not sure what more to do with it at this point to try and strengthen it. I would like to put a Mana Flare or two in there, possibly in place of the Alurens and/or Overruns, so that I could get more mana quicker, but I don't have them.

Just in case anyone's curious, if I had all of my Slivers and a Heartstone in play, this is the full list of abilities they would have:

+4/+8,
Flying,
Trample,
Haste,
Provoke,
Protection from two colors of my choice,
Can't be blocked except by Slivers,
Can't be the target of spells or abilities,
1: Regenerate,
Tap: Regenerate target Sliver,
1: +1/+1 until end of turn,
1, Sacrifice: Gain 4 life,
1, Sacrifice: Deal 2 damage to target creature or player,
Whenever a Sliver deals combat damage to a player, put a 1/1 Sliver token into play.

However, I would like to point out that never in recorded history has this happened.

And yes, I realize that these are in fact contradictory. I can force something to block, and yet nothing can block except for other Slivers. Unless I'm playing another Sliver deck (which I doubt will happen anytime soon), it all comes down to which one of them I put in play first.

Today I cut the two Hunter Slivers and one Overrun, and added one Root Sliver. Hopefully this will help the deck a little bit.

if you want to make the deck better, but they will become useless eventually because of the Shifting Sliver

Not entirely useless. If someone is foolish enough to attack me, then its effect would still be useful when I block.

In every 5 color deck I have I use 4 Harrow. It speeds up getting the mana you need immensely for a low cost.

Some good mana fixing did wonders for this deck. It eliminated the need for Belbe's Portal and Cryptic Gateway. Even Pulse of Llanowar isn't necessary for the deck to function anymore; it just makes things more convenient.

As for the slivers, I dumped the Crypt Sliver because it's no good once Crystalline Sliver hits play, and it never helped anyway. And Hunter Sliver is utter trash, I don't know why I didn't recognize that before.

I decided that Marton Stromgald and Overrun were "win-more" cards, meaning that they really didn't help me win. Instead, they just made me win with bigger numbers. And after all this editing, there was not much red left in the deck so I tossed out Relentless Assault as well.
