Urza Deck

[Baron Sengir]

I was inspired to build this deck by the Urza Lands, Tooth, and Collossus. After making a rough draft I found out this deck is valued at $280 roughly, so building it will be quite pricey unless I can trade. I'll post what I need, which is a lot, in the trading post in the general board. But the full deck is as follows:

Like I said, I don't know if this is possible because it is extremely expensive.

Surprised to see no Platinum Angel and Leonin Abunas in there. Eh, at least you aren't going for Bringer of the White Dawn with Mindslaver... that just kills all enjoyment of the game. Unfortunately I know somebody who plays that combo.

I thought about putting in Platinum Angel, but I figured I have enough expensive cards in there already.

B/Sing u, do don't worry about it its a good deck and i would run 4 eternal witnesses but thats just me

Yeah I used Brainburst as a guide, b/c they had a deck close to this one, and it does seem that they overprice big time. I also didn't realize so many people were using this deck this past Saturday at State. Apparently the Urza/Tooth deck is popular.

The biggest weakness to this deck comes from a blue/black control or a discard deck. If I lose my Colossus I am at a disadvantage, so if possible I may put in two and Platinum Angel is also a possibility, but I can try it first to see.

if ur colossus goes to the graveyard and not RGF then it would sutomatically get shuffled into ur library and the deck would only really need 1 platimun

Correct, I meant to say removed form the game. But having another power house like Platinum wouldn't be a bad idea anyway I guess.

I think I am totally going to redo this deck so it is green blue. Because I tested it three times against Jake and it is too slow to get out the Urzas land. Even though I have cards that pull land.

Ok, here is the new version. I realized with the Urza version that I needed too much to set off the combos and just when I would get out my third Urza land someone would reap and sow it, at which point I wanted to scream, so now I'm going to make it blue/green with mana leaks and condescends to counter reap and sow and it seems to be a little faster. The deck list is:
