Myr Madness

[Maraxus of Keld]

This Myr deck started off as purely creatures. Then I quickly found that I couldn't win if my attack could be stopped. So I added a few cards, and it drastically changed the way this deck works.

2x Vedalken Engineer
3x Broodstar
2x Iron Myr
3x Silver Myr
4x Myr Retriever
4x Myr Servitor
4x Myr Enforcer

Spells:

3x Thoughtcast
4x Override
2x Fireball


In addition to pumping out a bunch of myr and beating down with a huge Broodstar or an Enforcer wielding a Sword, this deck gained the ability to go absolutely nuts with Ashnod's Altar in play. I can Clamp creatures and sac them for mana, then either clamp the tokens produced by Genesis Chamber or sac them for mana as well. The end result is churning out insane amounts of mana, drawing a ton of cards and finishing the game with a big Fireball. This can happen as early as turn three with a lucky draw.

i haven't played this deck much since you altered it. The few times i have played it though, it did very well.

I need it a little more consistent though. I'm actually thinking about trimming the Broodstars and the equipment (other than the Clamp of course) in favor of some tutoring, such as Fabricate to guarantee I get the Genesis Chambers and Ashnod's Altar. Dunno if I want to do that though, because it would make the deck stray from its original style a bit too much.
