My discard deck

[Maraxus of Keld]

This is one of my favorite decks to play because most of the time it works pretty well. It's undergone a lot of changes in the time that I've had it, and now it's better than it's ever been. Here's how it looks now:

2x Chrome Mox
2x Sol Ring

Creatures:

4x Hypnotic Specter
3x Abyssal Specter

Discard:

4x Duress
4x Hymn to Tourach
4x Mind Twist
3x Ill-Gotten Gains
3x Memory Jar

Other:

1x Demonic Tutor
4x Megrim
4x The Rack

this deck is scary fast, if it didn't have so many broken/restricted cards, it would win tournaments no problem.

Not really. It uses a lot of cards that are only legal in Vintage or 1.5. And it wouldn't win very often there. It's probably about the right speed for Extended, but it wouldnt' fit there at all.

i don't know. it might do fine in vintage. its hard to pull off a combo when you have no cards in your hand

But most of its power comes from restricted cards. I couldn't pull off the nasty Memory Jar combo with just the one.
