Ring of Gyges Casting cost: 4 Artifact 3, : Target creature you control becomes unblockable until end of turn. At end of turn, if that creature attacked, defending player gains control of that creature. Flavor text: No man would keep his hands off what was not his own when he could safely take what he liked out of the market, or go into houses and lie with any one at his pleasure, or kill or release from prison whom he would, and in all respects be like a God among men.Two cookies to the first person to tell me where this idea comes from.

i'm hungry, so i'll tell everyone what it is.
The Ring of Gyges is a story by Plato (Hence the reason i know it). Gyges was a shepherd that found a dead body in a cave one day. the body had a gold ring on its finger. Gyges took it. He discovered later on that if he turned the signet, he could become invisible. He used this to his advantage. He became an emissary the king. He eventually seduced the queen and plotted with her to kill the king. He used the ring to kill the king, then he took over the kingdom.
