White creature removal, without giving out life like 1 Swords to Plowshares. Pretty good. Since it's color-based, that balances it out too, so taking something that's normally the domain of red (X damage) isn't such a big deal. |

It should also be half damage for artifact creatures (constructs).

Indeed we are. In fact, it's Volrath's repeated use of that spell in my Ravenloft campaign that inspired this spell.
