Heh, I like the flavor text. Seems like a good idea too, except I'd make them come into play tapped, any deck with a Vedalken Archmage, one untapped land, and one of those moxes in hand could drop 10-20 in one turn.

True. I didn't even know about Vedalken Archmage until I started browsing cards for that Grinding Station deck just yesterday.

Bumping these because I still think they're a cool idea. Jake had a good point about them being potentially exploitable. I'm thinking maybe instead of having them come in tapped (which would make them too weak), maybe they don't gain the ability to tap for colorless until they lose the jewelry counter?

Not a bad idea. The flavor text on them are really good.

That was one of my favorite parts. I had completely forgotten about these cards until I went looking through my oldest posts in this board. I think these are very cool, especially the flavor text.
I kinda miss having an actual community here, and an active You Make the Card board. This was always my favorite section of the forum. Might be because none of the idiots that used to post here ever came to this section.

I agree it was nice, but it seems like everyone I talk to doesn't have the time for forum posting anymore.
