Looks like Tony and Andy are coming to the Pastimes Legacy tonight. We should all go and turn it into a casual legacy lol. Hell half the time it probably will just be us; the attendance goes up and down like crazy because its on a Thursday and they draft also.

Yeah it should be fun. Even if I get the snot kicked out of me as so long as the atmosphere is good the event will be good. Its what made certain heroclix games so much fun.

Well I hope you had fun last night. I enjoyed it though that first match was rough. Just to update those that weren't there I went 2-1 last night. The first match was against a Tendrils of Corruption deck that just focused on building up mana and killed you with the Tendrils in one shot. The first game I wasn't getting any counters and just couldn't get my reanimation going fast enough. The second game I just kept drawing land. I also played Andy in the second match which was a fun relief and I enjoyed the relaxed pace of the game. The third match I played a red burn deck. The first game I steam rolled him as he couldn't get anythign going. The second game was the complete opposite and the third game I squeaked out a victory thanks to Show and Tell and Echoing Truth to bounce his Leyline of the Void back to his hand. This third match really taught me how key Side-Boarding is because my main deck is useless once he put in Leyline so I had to take out a bunch of stuff to add in the Show and Tells and the Echoing Truths. Overall it was an enjoyable night and I learned more about common Legacy decks and tournament play and I hope Tony and Andy had fun. Surprisingly 7 people showed up for Legacy which was more than I expected given the Innistrad draft going on in conjunction with Legacy.

It was fun I played a few casual games between rounds. Granted I got the crap kicked out of me but I picked up some experience and no one there was mean. I got ripped apart by that red burn deck too although I struggle against a well built one anyway.

Yeah I'm glad no one was mean; that Tendrils player wasn't very talkative and seemed to only care about playing and even when I tried to talk to him he didn't seem to be very interested, but that's not much to complain about considering how things could have went.
