If this board is gonna become active again, we're going to have to update the Magic Control Panel a bit. I discovered a few minutes ago that Autocard hasn't been updated since at least Saviors of Kamigawa, possibly earlier, making it completely useless referring to anything that's come out in the past two years. Wizards seems to have made the change over to Gatherer completely, and perhaps we should too. The card image link, insert card image, and Saturday School buttons seem to work just fine; however I have a bunch of red x's in place of the mana symbols and the tap symbol.

Well I fixed the navigation buttons, added a wallpaper, and changed the read and unread images. I'll get to the control panel images next. If someone can link me images of all of the mana symbols that are relatively the same size that would be helpful, if not, I'll just google about.

Yeah it is the Nightmare Lash. I'm trying to make it bigger, only problem is the hoster I'm using won't go any bigger. Thanks for the images.

Ok made the wallpaper bigger, so unless you have a resolution bigger than 1024 X 768 you should only see one of it, no tiling. I also fixed the control panel mana and tap symbols. Now what's the deal with the autocard? We have to change the link or something?

Wizards moved from autocard to a similar system called Gatherer that I never liked as much. The problem that I just discovered is that the URL for an individual card pic in Gatherer has a number rather than the card's name. Seems like that would be a nightmare to encode. But if you wanna take a look, you can start here.

With the upgrade to the new Proboards version I'm struggling to get the control panel in place again. They completely changed their back end coding and made it difficult for me to find out where I'm supposed to place the code for the panel. I'm going to keep hunting around and check on Proboards support forum to see what help I can get there also.

Looks like ProBoards completely changed the core of their forums so I'll have to redo the entire control panel. Hope to have it working soon as a plugin or something similar.

Lame. Everything I've seen of the update tells me that it's pretty crappy for the most part. It looks weird, it doesn't function quite as well, and it tries to forcibly link me to my accounts on other Proboards forums which I don't necessarily care to do. I guess having the ability to like other posts is nice, but it's hardly enough to make up for messing up our awesome control panel.

Right. The main reason I changed over is that it is being forced on everyone at the end of the year. So I would rather have it done now and get more support on the panel coding than when everyone and their brother is switched asking for help.

That makes sense. I'm just not a fan of forced changeovers to new updates that aren't always actually an improvement. I didn't like it when Facebook did it, I didn't like it when Hotmail did it, and I'm not a fan of Proboards doing it either, though other than the specific problem on this board it hasn't been that big a deal.
