Hypnotic SpecterI give this card a 9. It's killer in a discard deck, and a decent small flyer with a nice bonus for any black deck. But it's not anything you can't handle if it get thrown against you.

I've never heard the word "jackbum" before. That's a good one. And I still don't see why they banned Hippie from tournaments. So what if it's a random discard and he only costs three mana? What about Hymn to Tourach from Fallen Empires, the set that most people consider one of the weakest sets out there (except for Homelands)? That's two random discards for only two mana!

No, whenever people swear and it's in our censor list, the word is automatically changed.

It is a decent card and it can be useful, but not really by itself. When used in combination with cards that add effects (such as damage) whenever a card is discarded, it becomes much more useful. But alone, it's not a really big threat. Especially since it's blockable and fairly easy to kill, being just a 2/2. I give it a 7.

I consider it a pretty excellent card, actually. 3 mana for a 2/2 flyer, in black, is excellent, and the effect is a nice little one too.
