Anybody else think Cranial Plating is a terrific card, especially for a common? This card helps black artifact decks possibly as much as Disciple of the Vault does.
Direct damage is the enforcer of sanity in Magic. It ends the game when a bunch of dorks clog up the board with 28 variations of Fog Bank, Puppeteer, Silent Arbiter, and Ensnaring Bridge.
