I got 1000 random commons and uncommons and 25 rares for 29 bucks. Through amazon and my trial of amazon prime I got them today and I had ordered them today. They were 25 with 4 day same day shipping. Got a lot of good stuff too lots of new but I got some stuff as old as 4th edition. I got 1 Fallen Empires card and a few Ice Age. It looks like there's a couple good decks in there too just waiting to be put together.

Nice. Also happy birthday. Yeah 1000 cards is a good way to add random commons and uncommons to your collection for future decks.

Wow, I recognized only two of three of those without having to read the cards. And several of them look pretty cool. Vorosh the Hunter is pretty sweet. I'd totally use him in my Legend deck if I had him. Precursor Golem seems like it could be an interesting double-edged sword in a golem deck. Giant Growth becomes +3/+3 to all your creatures, but Lightning Bolt probably ruins your day. Phyrexian Rebirth could be pretty crazy depending on what decks are being played. At worst, it's Wrath of God for 2 more mana. Cemetery Puca (how do you pronounce that, "pooka?" "puke-a?" I don't even know) looks like a fun card. If you have a couple of those in play, you could throw down a Phyrexian Dreadnought, let it die instead of sacrificing anything to it, and turn all your Puca things into 12/12 trampling artifact creatures for just a couple mana. This card is almost begging me to build a deck around it.

Haha Cemetery Puca shall now and forever be known as Cemetary Puke. ;D Really cool card though and awesome artwork.

Contagion Engine is really a broken card read that ability. Proliferate then proliferate again works on poison counters. So as the ability states place another counter and then do it again so for 4 mana you give 2 poison counters.

Contagion Engine is definitely useful to a lot of decks. Not only poison decks, but anything that runs on +1/+1 counters (like Arcbound creatures, though the card is probably too slow for a Ravager Affinity deck) as well. For that matter, it would let you stack extra divinity counters on cards like Myojin of Seeing Winds and the other four like it, allowing them to use their ability and remain indestructible. With the way it used to be worded, you could have used it with Time Vault, when you had to tap it and skip a turn to put a whatever kind of counter on it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Proliferate ability was one of the reasons they changed it so it doesn't work that way anymore.

Had I not sold my Arcbound deck that would have been great in there.
