Looks like they did raise the price for the Innistrad fat pack on the pastimes site the older ones are only 30. They have Alara Reborn, Scars of Mirrodin and the 2010 core set at 30 and Rise of the Eldrazi is 35.

Yeah $40 isn't worth it to me; I don't need the land and box that bad that I'll pay and extra $10, but $20-$30 is ok.

This is why I ended up getting the deck building kits. I actually needed land I had almost no basic land but 20 bucks for 4 packs 185 semi random cards and 100 basic land was a good deal. 2 of those vs 1 Innistrad fat pack I got 1 pack less but more cards overall and more land.

Yeah definitely a better deal. When the set first came out the fat packs were like $20 but I guess they quickly go up.

Poking around i found the reason for the rise in prices. Seems they upped the packs from 8 to 9 and increased the land from 40 to 70 and its 2 deck boxes as opposed to just 1. With the addons I can see the raise but problem is its nothing I really need. I got 9 packs of Innistrad online cheaper by a decent amount thanks to ebay.

Yeah they kind of screwed themselves there then; I'll just buy the packs individually if that is the case.
