This is the one you slapped my Ironworks deck around with the other day, right? Seems to work pretty well. I did forget the Force of Will in my hand when you played Time Vault, but if I remember you could have countered it anyway. All I would have done was buy myself another turn because you wouldn't have been able to activate the Vault right away, and all that would have done was let me Fabricate for one of my combo pieces.

Yeah that's the deck. It was a quick game though so maybe if we have time an your willing we can try another game or even a multi player game.

I've never been so humiliated in my life and on that note good job. It sure was no fun being on the recieving end of that, but it was amazing to see that in action. Never thought I would ever see something lie that let alone get violated by such a deck.

I felt bad playing it though, as I sort of figured it would be nasty. As you saw the main idea is to never let anyone get a turn via Time Walk and the Time Vault + Voltaic Key, but I just wanted to try it to see how it works in a multi-player game.

For the experience it was worth it. I wouldn't really care to get the crap pounded out of me by that on a regular basis but at least if I did it would be a very quick game.

I played in a vintage tournament yesterday and ended up in tenth place out of like 24 (3-2). I almost made top 8, but unfortunately I went into round five 2-2 and no one going in as 3-1 lost; had someone lost I would have slid in. Oh well, I still had a lot of fun and am impressed with myself. For those bored like me currently here is a video of round 3 at the vintage tournament yesterday. I ended up winning the match in game 3. This was against a Mishra's Workshop Mill deck. Took me a game too get used to what he was doing because it completely caught me off guard. Our names are wrong in the title though. www.twitch.tv/xtremegamesonline/b/309123301It doesn't start to pick up until the end of game 2 around 20 minutes in. Also, and I didn't know this at the time, but the guy I played is apparently a world renowned player and has won some pretty big tournaments. Not that me beating him means much, as there is a lot of luck involved in these things, but at least I know for myself that I kind of sort of know what I'm doing lol.

Yeah. Honestly a lot of it is just learning the meta game of what everyone else plays and know what to counter, when, etc. Since there aren't a ton of different decks there tends to be a lot of overlap; like 2 of my 5 matches were the exact same Dredge deck.

I made the deck and absolutly love it, the only thing i was wondering about was the side board. With a large amount of workshop decks around i was thinking about putting in maybe 2 energy fluxes taking out massacure and 1 Leyline of the Void. Any opinion on that move?

Ok i kinda realized that energy flux is not fast enough to be that much of a detremint. However i did find an inresting spin on taking away one sea and adding a tundra in the main deck, i know it may seem unresonable. But having Serenity in the SB might be worth loosing one black mana sorce.
Also wanted to hear your opinion on having tinker and blightsteel colosus, as well as engeneering explosives.
Lastly debating the pros and cons of Leyline and Jailer vs Nihil spell bomb and Tormond's crypt with their decent synergy with Academy and Yawgmoth's will.
Sorry again dont mean to be a bother, but im in need of a little advice))

Yeah the Tundra and Colossus isn't a bad idea. You may want to try a list similar to what I have below. Its more of a Show and Oath but can be faster than Demon Oath and tends to have more win conditions. The GY hate can be tricky with the Yawg Will; either you have to SB it out or just play around it. Honestly that's another reason I cut black from the below list.
ARTIFACTS 1 Black Lotus 1 Mana Crypt 1 Mox Pearl 1 Mox Sapphire 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Ruby 1 Mox Emerald 1 Sol Ring
ENCHANTMENTS 4 Oath of Druids 1 Dragon Breath
INSTANTS (Aternate 2 Misdirection or 2 Mindbreak Trap for the 2 Spell Snare) 1 Brainstorm 1 Ancestral Recall 1 Thirst for Knowledge 3 Impulse 4 Force of Will 3 Mana Drain 4 Mental Misstep 3 Flusterstorm 1 Misdirection 1 Mindbreak Trap
SORCERIES 1 Ponder 1 Show and Tell 1 Tinker 1 Time Walk 1 Channel
CREATURES 1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn 1 Blightsteel Colossus
PLANESWALKERS 2 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
LAND 3 Misty Rainforest 2 Scalding Tarn 3 Tropical Island 1 Volcanic Island 1 Island 1 Forest 4 Forbidden Orchard 1 Tolarian Academy
SIDEBOARD 4 Leyline of the Void 3 Yixlid Jailer 1 Hurkyl's Recall 3 Nature's Claim 1 Ancient Grudge 2 Show and Tell 1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
