Yeah the more I think about it the more I think it will work. As far as going up against blue decks countering your creatures would be a waste because you have so many of the same with just different names so that means countering cards that pump them or what not, but you have so many that regardless I think you would be ok. If someone gets a card like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite down fast enough you may be in trouble, but if your able to pump your bears fast enough it may not be enough to stop you. You may run into some Wrath of God though in the second or third game, but I think that would be a rare sight in a competitive Legacy tournament.

Yeah, Caller of the Claw looks like the perfect response to board sweepers like Wrath of God.
Anyway, I'd want to see the deck in action. Ken's right that there's little to no point in countering your creatures since there's likely to be another identical one cast right afterward, so the main things to watch out for would be the creature boosters. It's definitely beatable, I'm just curious about two things. First is how fast it can be a threat, and the second is whether the lack of additional card drawing will really hurt or not.

Yeah that's definitely something to at least add to your sideboard, but maybe you will find that you want to have it in your main deck after testing.

To substitute a couple of bears for a couple would be no big deal in the main deck. Not sure how often it would be needed though but I loose nothing by adding them. I learned something fun about Parallel Lives. If I have just two of my four out token generation gets insane. Say I use Grizzly Fate to get 2 tokens the first Parallel Lives says that if a source generates token double them. So then Parallel Lives 1 creats 4 tokens and becomes a source itself and the Parallel Lives 2 would double that. So I'm not in any danger of being short on bears and I hate sideboard rules and I would probably forget to substitute cards.
