I just wanted to comment on how funny I find the prices that old booster boxes are going for. I mean check out this booster box of revised: www.trollandtoad.com/p87534.html$1300!?!? For what exactly? I know there are dual lands, but your not going to get $1300 worth of dual lands; maybe you'll get 3 duals if you are luck in the entire box. I know there are a lot of awesome cards in the set, but nothing worth that much. Other old sets are equally ridiculous like Arabian Nights: trollandtoad.com/p79657.htmland Antiquities: www.trollandtoad.com/p113970.htmlSure you can get Mint Bazaars and Workshops, but they wouldn't be worth that price. I guess its just the thrill of opening the packs or maybe just owning a sealed booster box of an old set. Either way it seems crazy to me.

Its not the cards its the fact its sealed. Same goes for video games like Super Mario World on the SNES. Given its abundance and the fact until the repackaged the SNES to come with Zelda it was the default game to come with the system. A sealed Super Mario World sells for a disturbing price. So I understand the prices I just don't get how or why anyone would want to pay that kind of money. Even stuff that isn't that old is expensive where booster boxes of stuff just a few sets back can cost a few hundred.

Yeah that's true I didn't think about the fact that just because its sealed its more valuable. Not that I would pay that, but like you said I can understand the price at least, just wow that's a lot of money.
