Well this is not magic related but I feel the need to complain about it.. I for a long time thought that Uwe Boll should not be allowed around any movie making equipment or scripts. He still shouldn't be but now first place belongs to Michael Bay. This clown should be put in a rocket and shot into the sun except the sun would probably commit suicide and destroy all life as we know it. I just read that this massive moron is in charge of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. So what's the problem? Dispite its problems I did enjoy the first Transformers film. The problem is he just took a giant dump over the comics, movies and cartoon shows. I may have outgrown the cheesy 80s show but the comics movies and the 2003 series were very good. Now the turtles are not mutants they are aliens. www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/19/michael-bay-ninja-turtles-movie-aliens_n_1364828.html

I haven't seen any of the transformer movies but in all honesty this doesn't surprise me. Lately movies that are based off comics, previous movies, games, shows, etc. seem to be taking huge liberties and simply use the name to get people in the door; that new Karate Kid movies with Will Smith's son was a perfect example. Though that movie wasn't that bad honestly, it had no connection to the previous Karate Kids in any way, shape, or form.

I saw the first Transformers movie, and all I remember about it is that it wasn't as bad as I expected. I don't say it was good, but I expected it to be total crap and it was... meh. I never cared at all about the Transformers cartoon; I just thought the toys were awesome. So I don't really know, and also don't really care, how badly Michael Bay ruined that franchise. I didn't bother to see the sequels though, and everything I've heard about them suggests that I'm not missing anything.
The only Uwe Boll films I've seen are Bloodrayne and less than 10 minutes of Bloodrayne 2. He really is as bad as they say, although I have seen worse movies than his even.
But if what Michael Bay has said about this TMNT film he's doing is true, and not just a horrible miscommunication that he's refusing to correct for some reason, then he's crossed a line I will not forgive. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles basically are my childhood - I pretty much stopped paying much attention to all the other cartoons when I got into the turtles. If there is one 80's cartoon franchise that I will not accept being ruined, this is it.
If Michael Bay wants to make a movie about alien superheroes, let him make a Superman movie. Hell, even Silver Surfer. I'm sure he'd ruin it, but at least it wouldn't be a series I'm all that fond of.
