I grew up watching the old 3 Stooges show, and the previews of the movie is promising, I have high hopes for this movie. Going to watch it opening in my local theater this evening. It's not directed by Micheal Bay, that has to be a plus.. right? hoping it's not like the Get Smart movies a few years back, another of my childhood favorites that the movie was terrible.

I was impressed, the casting for the movie was excellent, the actors seem to fit the parts perfectly. It recaptures alot of what made the 3 Stooges so great in the first place. It felt like watching new 3 Stooges episode instead of watching someone try to remake something, but change everything about it but the character names.

It may be a decent movie but I'm a pretty huge 3 Stooges fan so I can't get past the fact its not the real stooges. That's not saying it's bad its quite possible i would enjoy it. At least it dosen't have the Joe Besser character in it that right there is an automatic plus.

oh speaking of childhood tihngs being ruined the Get Smart reference just makes me remember how bad the Inspector Gadget movie was. I skipped Get Smart but I do remember the show and have even been watching it recently again.
