Mind Grind X Sorcery R Each opponent reveals cards from the top of his or her library until he or she reveals X land cards, then puts all cards revealed this way into his or her graveyard. X can't be 0. this makes me want to pair it with Glimpse The Unthinkable for a / mill deck.

Yeah I saw this one and was actually pretty impressed by it. This can definitely cause big problems for your opponents.

Hey John. Remember how much you hated my angel deck? Well imagine if I rebuilt it and added this? Kind of makes Akroma seem not so bad huh?

There's some interesting stuff in this set. I have to say, this block is at a power level I'm more comfortable with than the last couple years' worth of stuff. Hellkite Tyrant makes me want to pair it with Mycosynth Lattice for some high-powered superdickery. I have been trying to use the Lattice for years now (my other idea is pairing it with Kill Switch but I'm a bit fuzzy on the mechanics of that and making sure I get to untap without letting anybody else do so). But yeah, I'm liking some of this stuff.

Oh my, I forgot about that card from Darksteel! Yeah that is certainly a combo to be scared of. In regards to Kill Switch, what happens is that at the beginning of the untap step, permanents that will be untapped are determined, then all those permanents will untap at once. Since the Kill Switch is tapped at that moment, the only artifact that will untap is Kill Switch during your turn. You would need something like Unwinding Clock. Now go make the deck. ;D

I think you mean "go fix the deck you already have." ;D The original idea I started with was Tolarian Entrancer + Gaseous Form + Tempting Licid (can you tell this idea is pretty old?). Then I got greedy. I added Nature's Revolt so that I could steal all the lands. Then I thought Mycosynth Lattice plus March of the Machines means I can literally steal everything!!!!! And if the Lattice is already in there, then might as well put in the Kill Switch too! Yeah... the deck sucks. That's why I never use it. With some money and effort I could make it better, but I'm not inclined to put in much of either.
