This card was just spoiled from the new set coming out 1/27 and it definitely going to change up the vintage and probably legacy scene hard core.

So, by my count this shuts down: -Reanimation, because creatures can't come in from the graveyard. -Dredge I think, for the same reason. -Oath, because creatures can't come in from the library. It would also shut down Survival of the Fittest if there are any decks still using that. - Yawmoths Will because stuff can't be played from the graveyard. -Probably a lot of other stuff I either don't know about or am not thinking of. Undoubtedly a nice change for the formats, although that means these cards are going to be instantly valuable. Personally though, I think designing cards specifically to ruin certain strategies like this is something that should only be done extremely rarely when it's absolutely necessary because it's not good game design. There's already a ton of reanimator hate out there anyway.

Yeah I honestly think part of this card's creation came from everyone whining about Dredge, but they screwed over a ton of other decks too like my Oath deck. Oh well I'll just put in more Mental Missteps and Bounce Cards like Echoing Truth.

Sweet my Kobold deck may stand a chance now. It sucks they screwed up a lot of decks and I even have a reanimator deck now but I built the kobold deck for tournament play.

That may work well for my bear deck with the token generation.

Funny enough this card may cause Workshop decks to be played more in the vintage scene and maybe a resurgence of Ravager decks...maybe. And the other interesting part is since it says cast and not play you can still use Crucible of Worlds to play lands from your graveyard. (Lands are played and not cast)

Though, because of what this card does, you hopefully will see Snapcaster Mage drop in price a tad. Since you were collecting Innistrad hopefully you can pick one up cheaper soon.
