I like to make lots of different kinds of decks, so I have trouble answering my own question. Not a big fan of creature type theme decks though. At least, not the common ones (goblins, slivers, elves, zombies, etc.), although the more difficult ones to make can be quite impressive once they're put together.
I think my favorite kind is a balanced deck, that can do a lot of different things. My en-Kor deck and my black deck that defies description are prime examples of this.

I just enjoy my black destruction deck the most. Though my Flashback one is getting close.

I enjoy creature themed decks that do all sorts of things. My Knight deck both gains life and can destroy things on a mass level. Plus my creatre theme decks are not exactly common. I have only played one creature theme deck that was the same kind of creature type I use and that was a merfolk deck. I have never seen creature themed decks like the ones I have. I have not seen an Angel or knight deck although odds are those would be the two most likely I would face out of all the creature theme decks I have made. I have never seen an elemental deck, a fairy deck, an elephant deck, or my newest project a witch deck. Plus in the future i am considering building one if not both of the following. A treefolk and/or a centaur deck.

my vote goes for the counter/bounce/control deck. i have made a few counter decks and everyone hates it when i have a capsize in my hand. My tramutize deck is halfway controlling, but doesnt stack up to my mistfolk deck. when its done and i cut a few cards out to make it faster, it will thoroughly grab my opponent by the balls, and not let go. ;D

I've grown to deal with blue. It doesn't anger me like it used to. Plus I even have a deck that is half blue and half green.

That's the thing I don't like about elves, they're defensive rather than offensive. The best elves for attacking are Timberwatch Elf and Heedless One. That's pretty crappy.
