So this will be the next From the Vault series that is sold for 3 to 4 times the listed price, the selling point of this one is that it's twenty cards that were key component of tournament winning decks. I'm not a big fan of these really because of the massive price increase on them the day they come out, I've never seen them listen at the recommended price.

Yeah I don't blame you. They are nothing more than money makers for the shops that raise the price of them through the roof.

Wizards really ought to do something to enforce the suggested retail price.
Y'know what they should do? They should let you order them straight from their own website (plus shipping and handling I suppose), that way there's a real incentive for the card shops to charge a fair price so they can compete.

I wish they would do something like that honestly, because I would buy all the new product from them instead of a shop. It seems like lately even Booster box prices fluctuate depending on how well the set is selling. As an example Pastimes has the new set Gatecrash for $114.99 a box, but Dark Ascension is only $99.99. I'm not even sure what they are supposed to retail for, but I really don't buy the new stuff unless its singles off eBay. One main reason I use eBay is that there really is no shop around here I have loyalty to or care for. I go to Pastimes occasionally only if I don't feel like waiting for something, but there isn't much more of a reason other than that.

I buy most of my sealed product from Miniaturemarket.com They don't have a selection such as troll and toad or other large online stores, but their box prices are usually substantially cheaper than other places i've found. Current prices of things they have is (boxes)..
Return to Ravnica/Gatecrash $95 Innistrad Block $89 2012 Core set $80 2011 Core Set $105 4th Edition (Italian) $115 2013 Core Set $89 (Japanese) $99
Though they don't have any of the From the Vault stuff.
and shipping on any order over $99 is free. (FedEx Ground)

Direct ordering would be sweet. Sadly the card shop in Chicago is gone but back then a booster box of tempest was 60 and starter decks/preconstructed were beteen 7/8 bucks flat. Sales tax wasn't even tacked on.
