So it's been confirmed that slivers are coming back for M 14, except for the fact that everything that made them slivers have been changed. The art doesn't look like slivers, the effects aren't global as slivers are... this saddens me. I like slivers... not dollar bin sliver knock offs. forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=508858 |

I saw these previewed on Facebook. I hadn't noticed that they only affect slivers you control. I'm right there with you in saying these are bad.
But in terms of effects, they're just bigger, pumped-up versions of existing slivers anyway. They all do the same things as slivers we've had for years, they just cost more mana, don't always look like slivers, and now don't give bonuses to other players' slivers.
I dunno about you, but I've only ever been in games with two sliver decks playing once or twice in my life anyway.
